Piloxing Returns

Piloxing is an easy to follow, calorie torching mix of Boxing and Pilates, set to a rocking playlist, that will get your heart pumping while toning your upper and lower body. Floor work at the end of class strengthens the core and glutes. Weighted gloves (we have extras) are worn to amp up the workout and sculpt the upper body. Bare feet are recommended, but of course, sneakers can be worn. This class is great for the beginner or the die-hard cardio junkie.

Be sure and check it out, Thursday’s at 9 a.m. with Cris.  Babysitting is available.  Woo!

Raising Money for Great Causes

Earlier in the month our Monday Open Yoga held a donation based yoga class to raise money for the Food Pantry in Milford. I am so proud to say our wonderful yoga community raised $500! This Friday, October 27, Jazzercise hopes to keep the momentum going with a Purple Dance Party to benefit Safe Haven. Come on out at 5 p.m. for a great cause and a fun workout. Class is free (donations are welcome), and open to all ages and fitness levels. No experience necessary. Please wear sneakers.

Interested in Spinning?

Not sure if spin is for you? Beginner spin classes are once again POPPING up on the schedule. These 30 minute spin classes include bike set up, basic rides and awesome playlists. Singing is encouraged. Everyone works at his or her own pace, adding resistance is optional. Please wear sneakers and bring water. Classes are free for members, and $5 for walk-ins or Silver Sneakers members. Our first ride will be Thursday, October 26, at 9:15 a.m.

Circle Jam

Circle Jam is coming to the main studio at JMF this Sunday. Circle Jam is an acoustic get together with local musicians of all levels. Jude Leduc is the founder and creator of Circle Jam and plays Mandolin, Guitar, vocals and Bass. All ages are welcome to join in the circle and sing/play songs of their choice or just join in. Bring your instrument and a folding chair. Drummers are welcome with a drum box, bongos or similar percussion instruments. Halloween in Milford

The Studio will be open with a regular schedule on Tuesday, Oct 31st. Please allow some extra time to get to class, as Milford will be filled with ghosts and goblins! Drive safe, and watch out for Trick or Treaters.
